Douglas Clarke specializes in the contemporary and postwar eras, predominantly with artists who are represented in major museums and sell at auction. Through his years of experience as a private art advisor and owning his own gallery, Clarke has formed strong relationships with auction houses and galleries, allowing him access to an array of private works. Clarke has bought and sold works by established artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, George Condo, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Kaws, Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, Ed Ruscha, Sean Scully, Richard Serra and many others.
